The concert season here in Western New York has only gotten bigger and better. As we head toward the second half of the summer, it is time to prepare for some great shows.

This has already been one of the best concert seasons in recent memory, and some of the biggest concerts are still yet to come.

Will Garth Brooks, Kenny Chesney or Morgan Wallen Return to Western New York?

We are patiently waiting to see if Garth Brooks will announce a Buffalo, New York, date or some sort of New York State stop as part of his Blame It All on My Roots arena tour this fall or winter.

Garth has already announced a few shows, including stops in Indianapolis and Chicago, but there has been no word yet on whether New York State will be a target for one of his upcoming shows.

Kenny Chesney also has a big announcement coming up, and fingers crossed that it includes some sort of concert news.

Not to mention, we are all anxiously waiting for the return of Morgan Wallen somewhere close to Western New York.

Can you imagine seeing Garth Brooks, Kenny Chesney or Morgan Wallen back in Western New York next year? It would certainly be a big deal for country music fans across the region.

Tyler Childers Coming to Darien Lake

The big concert news this week involves Tyler Childers and his upcoming show at Darien Lake.

If you plan to attend, Darien Lake has advised fans to get there early. The show has been sold out since day one and will likely be one of the biggest concerts of the season at the venue.

Getting there early could also be worth your time, as there will be plenty of activities happening before the show.

There will be a pre-party, food discounts and even giveaways for ticket upgrades. If you can get out of work a little early, it may be the perfect way to start the weekend before what should be a huge night at Darien Lake.

Here are the full details that were sent to us from Live Nation:

To encourage early arrival, we’re opening the doors of the venue earlier than usual to have a "pre-party" vibe in the South Concourse (main entrance) where we’ll be doing the following:

  • Raffling off tickets to future shows
  • Raffling off Darien Lake swag
  • Raffling off our custom-made camp flag for this show (this is the same camp flag we gift to the artist)
  • Yard games
  • Buffalove Bus photo booth

Last but not least, we’ll have a value menu available as well ($5 beers, $2 hot dogs, etc.)

Lots open @ 2:30pm

Doors open @ 5:30pm (to just the Main Entrance/South Concourse)

It is going to be an incredible night and one that concertgoers will want to remember.

And while Tyler Childers is expected to bring a huge crowd to Darien Lake, we are also excited for the return of the Erie County Fair concerts in Hamburg, New York.

There is still plenty of summer left, which means there are plenty of opportunities to get out and enjoy live music here in Western New York.
