Sports Reporter Celebrates Birth of Baby in Western New York

'Tis the season for gifts, giving, family, and for one local reporter a baby!

Being a TV sports reporter isn't always an easy job. While yes, you're covering a game it's so much more than that in a place like Buffalo. Not only are the fans rabid, but the travel can be gruesome. Many have to attend and travel to every Buffalo Bills away game. Some have to be on the sidelines during inclement weather. The hours are weird, as you often do reports for the morning shows and 11 pm news. Add in all the video packages and online articles and it adds up.

It's not digging ditches though, that's the good news.

One of the hardest-working people is that of News 4 Buffalo's Josh Reed. He not only reports on the teams and travels with them, he is also WIVB's sports director. Josh is a busy man, and incredible at his job. He's also a damn good person. Josh joins me weekly on WBLK and Pat McMahon on WBUF to get you ready for game day. In that time we have got to know him and he's an absolute class act.

So when we saw his big news this week, we couldn't help but share it, too.
