Calling all dog, cat, and ferret owners. You can get your fur-baby up to date with their rabies shots for free tomorrow.
Erie County Health Department Holding Free Rabies Clinic
You can bring your pet in for a free rabies shot at the North Buffalo Community Center this Satruday. While the clinic is free, it is on a first-come, first-served basis, and you need to sign up your pet before the 21st.

What You Need To Know For This Free Rabies Clinic
According to the Erie County health department's website, here is what you need to know before heading to the clinic for your pet's rabies shot.
- Dogs, cats, and ferrets, ages 3 months and older, are eligible for this clinic.
- Make sure pets are in a carrier or have on a collar and a short leash. Do not use retractable or extended leashes.
- Put contact info on your pet's collar and carrier. Also, consider having your pet microchipped. Talk to your vet about this.
- Up to three pets will be accepted per appointment.
- Bring proof of the pet's previous vaccination in order to receive a three-year vaccination certificate; a one-year certificate will be given.

This clinic is a walk-in only clinic, and drive-thru services will not be available. If you can't make it to this clinic, make sure to check back often with the Erie County Health Department's website for future free rabies clinics.
