If you were like me, you might have been shocked to see the pot shot taken at the people of Buffalo over the weekend while watching the Buffalo Bills game.

I spent my Sunday rooting for the Bills, but a commercial during the game left me scratching my head after it seemed a Hollywood blockbuster film apparently took a shot at the residents of Buffalo and Western New York.

New Movie "Anaconda" Makes Fun Of Buffalo

The trailer for the new Jack Black and Paul Rudd movie seems to take a poke at the drinking habits of Buffalo residents. In the trailer, one of the actors uses the term "Buffalo Sober," which means he still drinks beer, wine, and light liquor while trying to remain sober.

This seems to be a shot at the residents of Buffalo, who many people think drink way too much. One reason the shot of Buffalo is part of the movie is that Paul Rudd is a huge Kansas City Chiefs fan and knows that Bills Mafia likes to have a good time before games.

Paul Rudd and Jack Black are not the only Hollywood stars to think Buffalo is a drinking town. Comedian Shane Gillis mentioned the drinking habits of Western New Yorkers during a recent podcast.
