Million Dollar Winning Lottery Ticket Sold In New York

This weekend proved to be a pretty lucky one for lottery players in New York.

There were several "Big Money" winning tickets sold in New York for Friday Night's Mega Millions drawing, including one that took home one million dollars.

Friday Night's Mega Million numbers were 6-12-31-33-69 with a Mega Ball of 17

Two tickets sold in New York matched four out of five numbers and had the Mega Ball number as well. Each of those tickets won $10,000.

One ticket sold matched all five numbers but missed out on the Mega Ball. That ticket won $1 million dollars.

According to the New York State Lottery, that million-dollar ticket was sold at Smokes 4 Less on 59 North Plank Road in Newburgh, New York.

No one claimed the grand prize from Friday Night's Mega Million drawing which means Tuesday's jackpot is now up to $289 million dollars.

It was not a lucky weekend for Powerball players in New York. There were no "Big Money" winners from Saturday's drawing, but the good news is that no one claimed the grand prize either. Tonight's grand prize jackpot is up to $295 million dollars.
