It looks like the "El Nino" that is coming across the United States is going to end up bringing some abnormal weather across New York in the month of December.

We are looking at a warmer and milder end to November so will that continue into the final month of 2023?

The Old Farmer's Almanac has put out its extended forecast for December and if you are a big fan of skiing, snowmobiles, and snowboards, you might be disappointed.

The Old Farmer's Almanac is calling for a warmer and wetter December than normal. It looks like we will see some snow, but otherwise, most of the month looks to bring a mix of sun and rain and temperatures well above freezing.

As you can see we are looking at above-average temperatures for the month with a cold start and warming up towards the end.

Snow will be with us in the beginning and rain will take over for much of the month with the warmer temperatures.

Overall the amount of rain and snow will be a couple of inches above the average we usually get in the month of December.
