Here is a look at how the weather could impact your solar eclipse viewing across New York State.

WESTERN NEW YORK

Right now, most forecasts are calling for cloud cover during the afternoon with mostly cloudy skies near totality at 3:18 pm.

CENTRAL NEW YORK

It looks like today will be mostly cloudy during the eclipse with more clear skies to the East of New York.

While you won't see totality in New York City, the "Big Apple" will have the best chance of clear skies to see the partial eclipse.
