When you think about the success that the hometown Buffalo Bills have had over the last few years, it's hard to believe that it was just in 2016 that the team had the longest playoff drought in professional sports. A whole lot has changed at One Bills Drive in the nearly 9 years since January 2017.

Since the Pegula family took over the Bills in 2014, they have made a series of changes that have led us to where we stand today, a rather successful team that has a renewed focus towards earning another appearance in the Super Bowl and, hopefully, bringing the Lombardi Trophy home to Buffalo.

One of the keys to the Bills' success today is a front-office duo that just reached a key milestone in the NFL.

After the Buffalo Bills handed the Tampa Bay Buccaneers a big defeat at Highmark Stadium on Sunday, November 16, 2025, that big dub gave Sean McDermott and Brandon Beane their 100th victory as Head Coach and General Manager, respectively.

Just think about the last 8 years with these two at the helm of the Bills. As of the end of Week Eleven this year, the Buffalo Bills have:

• A total record, since the start of the 2017 season, of 101 victories and 55 losses, including the playoffs,
• Won the AFC East Title 5 of the last 8 years,
• Appeared in the playoffs 7 of the last 8 years,
• Won 10 games in 6 of the last 8 seasons,
• and helped to send 29 players to the Pro Bowl since the 2017 season.

While there is a lot of conversation and grumbling about different aspects of the Bills' performance and their front office staff, there is no denying the impact that Beane and McDermott have had on Buffalo.

It seems that trusting the process has paid dividends.
