It looks like the Sabres are back to square one, as Colton Parayko has enforced his no movement clause to Buffalo.
The Buffalo Sabres are making a push to make the NHL playoffs for the first time since the 2010-11 season, and they are rumored to be a major player ahead of the NHL trade deadline. This year's NHL trade deadline is set for 3 pm on Friday, March 6th. That means if the Sabres are going to make it a move, it will happen soon.
Buffalo Sabres linked to St. Louis Defenseman
There have been numerous reports of the Buffalo Sabres being very active ahead of the NHL trade deadline. The biggest move is one that apparently just has to be confirmed by one of the players. Parayko is currently an alternate captain for the Blues and was the team's 86th overall pick in the 2012 NHL draft. This season, Parayko has played in 58 games for the Blues, scoring one goal and adding 13 assists for 14 points. In his career, he has scored 78 goals with 231 assists for a total of 309 career points.
Buffalo Sabres Look To Extend Winning Streak
The Buffalo Sabres have been red-hot since returning from the Olympic Break, winning four games in a row. They are back on the ice tonight, down in Pittsburgh to take on the Penguins. Puck drop for that game is set for for 7 pm.
