ABC will try to tap in to the success of “the Voice” and “American Idol” with a new show called “Duets”.  The show puts a different spin on the average singing competition.  Kelly Clarkson, Robin Thicke, Lionel Ritchie and Sugarland’s Jennifer Nettles have all signed on and will travel across America to find singers to be their duet partners.  Every week, the celebrity and one of their "discoveries" will perform in front of a live studio audience.  The winner will land a contract with Hollywood Records.  “Duets” is expected to this summer.  Clarkson, Thicke and Richie are all guest starring as mentors on 'The Voice' this season.
