Josh Allen Gives a Spoiler For New Bills Stadium on ESPN?
In case you missed it, Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen was a guest on ESPN2's new Monday Night Football broadcast, called the Manning Cast.
The broadcast features former all-pro NFL quarterbacks Peyton and Eli Manning talking about the game and life topics, while also having a guest on every quarter of the game.
Allen was the guest during the third quarter and Josh gave plenty of awesome quotes and soundbites to Eli and Peyton.
One of the most interesting was Allen talking about the fact he's played in the elements for a while; first at the University of Wyoming, and now in Buffalo with the Bills.
Josh mentioned how it looks like the Bills "new stadium" won't have a dome...
A report from the AP at the end of August reported that the Bills proposed a new, 60,000 stadium in Orchard Park that would be an open air stadium.
The fact that the price tag would be considerably less than a dome or retractable roof, makes it even more likely that the new stadium (assuming a deal gets done between the team, league, county and state) would be an open air one, like Highmark Stadium; or something similar to it.
Josh said he's fine playing in the elements and mentioned how he does have big hands, and is used to it dating back to his seasons at Wyoming, which is no stranger to cold and snow.
Josh may know something and looks like fans will have to continue to wear winter jackets at the games for years to come.
