Sean McDermott Raises Eyebrows With Josh Allen Update
Anywhere you go in Western New York right now, there is one topic that keeps getting brought up: Josh Allen's injury.
The Buffalo Bills franchise quarterback was injured on the last offensive drive in last Sunday's loss against the New York Jets, when his right (throwing) elbow was hit and bent as he delivered a pass.

Ian Rapoport and Chris Mortensen reported it was an injury to the ulnar collateral ligament in the elbow and Allen has not practiced all week.
Bills head coach Sean McDermott said earlier this week that Allen was "day-to-day" and that "we'll see" whether or not he plays this Sunday against the Minnesota Vikings.
Many were wondering if McDermott would rule out Allen for Sunday's game when he met with the media on Friday. McDermott did not and instead restated that Allen is day-to-day.
However, McDermott also said on WGR radio in Buffalo that they are in an "hour by hour situation" with Allen...
McDermott said they will see how he progresses throughout the day on Friday but the fact he could be "hour to hour" for a timeframe is pretty wild after the fact he did not practice once all week.
Could this all be gamesmanship with the Vikings? Very possible and if you're the Bills, you would rather have Minnesota not know who will be starting at quarterback, to force them to come up with different defensive strategies.
However, it would have been very easy for McDermott and the Bills to just rule out Allen if they know for sure he wasn't playing. We now wait and see what transpires over the next 48 hours.
