Most Buffalo Bills fans are talking today about Josh Allen and Gabe Davis, which is for good reason.

Allen threw for 424 yards and four touchdowns, while Davis caught three passes for 171 yards and two touchdowns; one was a 98-yard reception, which tied the Bills record set by Ryan Fitzpatrick and Terrell Owens in November of 2009.

However, the Bills rookies were another huge story in Sunday's 38-3 victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Cornerback Kaiir Elam got his first career NFL interception, while running back James Cook got his first career touchdown.

Wide receiver Khalil Shakir also got his first career touchdown -- a 24-yard pass from Allen to make the score 31-3 in the second quarter.

Normally, when a  player scores his first career touchdown, he keeps the ball as a keepsake. Shakir scored but he actually threw the ball to the referee and started jogging off the field.

Allen made sure to not let that happen. He went and grabbed the ball back from the ref and gave it to Shakir.

Josh said, "what are you doing?"

Shakir caught three passes for 75 yards and a touchdown. He also handed kick and punt return duties, after Taiwan Jones' muff on the opening kickoff of the game.

Shakir played extremely well and it's clear the Bills got an absolute steal in the 5th round of the 2022 NFL Draft. It's unfortunate that his opportunity came as a result of injuries, but Shakir will be a player for the Bills for a while.
