He is currently indulging in his second favorite sport this weekend at Pebble Beach. Allen admitted during a press conference at the Pebble Beach Pro-Am on Wednesday that his second sport after football is golf.
He hasn't had a lot of time to hone his golf skills since last year before training camp but just like his long bombs on the football field, Allen can hit a long drive.
Allen is relaxing after what he called a disappointing season after the Bills lost to Kansas City in the NFL divisional playoffs. Allen said he was hoping not to play in the Pebble Beach Pro-Am because he would have been prepping for Super Bowl 56.
Allen wrapped up his season on top of his game. In the playoffs, he threw for 637 yards, 9 touchdowns, and no interceptions. He also completed 77% of his passes in the playoffs.
The Bills are expected to be another Super Bowl contender next year and will be looking to win the AFC East for the third straight year. It will be different for the Bills offenses as they lost their Offensive coordinator Brian Daboll who left to become the head coach of the New York Giants.
Allen will have a familiar face in the QB room, as the Bills promoted his QB coach Ken Dorsey to the role of Offensive coordinator.
