Juicy Burger Bar Announces Surprise Closing In Hamburg, NY

It's easily one of the most popular restaurants in Hamburg, and unfortunately it looks as though they will be closing soon.

Juicy Burger Bar is an American Fair restaurant right in the middle of Hamburg, NY.  It's one of the first restaurants you'll see as you drive into town at the roundabout at 391 and Buffalo Street.  They serve up just about everything from burgers to salads, fries, wings and other appetizers.

Juicy Announces that they'll be closing for good

They made the announcement on their facebook page late on Monday night that unfortunately they would be closing.  Evidently it was as much of a surprise to them as it is to you right now.

They've been serving up made to order burgers in the village of Hamburg since 2015.  They used to be in a smaller area just a little up the street when they started.  But then  in 2017, they moved just a little up the street to expand their dining area and offer their patrons an outdoor patio area to sit.  You can often see people out there enjoying their food on warm summer nights.

Why is Juicy closing?

They seem to be doing well.  So you might be asking yourself, "Why are they closing?"

According to their statement on Facebook, they're having to close because the building where they are was purchased by someone new and their lease was terminated.  They say that they were only given 30 days to vacate.

Juicy wants to thank their customers and employees

Their statement included an incredibly heartfelt message to their customers to thank them for their unwavering support throughout the years.

"To our customers, we thank you for your unwavering support and loyalty. Getting to know all of you, your families, and watching them grow throughout the years has been heartwarming. We are the luckiest people in Hamburg for knowing you."

But it was their employees that they understandably seemed the most concerned about.  This news is devastating to them as they all get ready to celebrate the holidays.  They ask that people keep an eye on social media as they try to come up with other ways to support them.

And you never know, maybe we will see them somewhere else very soon.  As they closed out the message they said that they plan to come back even stronger and that it wasn't the last that you'll hear from them.
