Kayaking At Hamlin Beach State Park [PHOTOS]

With the long weekend I knew I wanted to something in addition to watching a Chopped marathon and 15 episodes of Golden Girls. The weather was perfect and I had some new kayaks that needed to be taken out on their maiden voyage. So we headed out to Lake Ontario for the day to kayak at Hamlin Beach!

It was great weather and I'm glad we got and early start because it got a little rough while we were out there and let's just say the take off was better than the landing. All in all it was a great day at Hamlin Beach and a perfect day trip! We met up with some people who were camping there for the weekend and hung out with them for day too! I would love to camp there someday, it looks like a great place!
