After rain delayed the start, then caused a nearly 4-hour interruption and needed a green, white, checkered finish to settle, Matt Kenseth emerged the winner at Bristol Motor Speedway on Sunday to break a 51-race winless drought dating back to September, 2013.

Kenseth took the lead from Kurt Busch during a late caution and held on after a series of crashes, plus a delay to dry the track after a brief shower heading into the green, white, checkered.  He finished just ahead of Jimmie Johnson for his 32nd career victory.  He becomes the sixth different winner this season.

After Johnson, Jeff Gordon, Ricky Stenhouse, Jr. and Ryan Newman completed the Top 5.

Kurt Busch led a race-high 98 laps, but after a series of wrecks he finished 15th.

The race took more than nine hours to complete.

They're under the lights at Richmond International Raceway next Saturday.
