Love the snow? Live for the ski season? You will have to wait for both at one location in Western New York. Fall officially ends and winter begins this week. However, Mother Nature is not cooperating...just yet.

The forecast is calling for a big change in the weather for Christmas weekend. The cold, snow and bitter winds will be here by Friday but that means rain and warmer temps leading in to that. Kissing Bridge has announced that they will have to delay their opening as a result of the weather forecast.

It's the second time operators of the resort in Glenwood had to reschedule their opening day. The new date for opening day will be this Saturday -- Christmas Eve. They say this is the last time they're postponing opening day -- no matter what the weather does.

The weather is about to get very wintery! There are blizzard watches posted for areas west of us. The Buffalo Bills will travel to Chicago to play the Bears this weekend and there are reports that the temperature will be in the single digits for the game. Those traveling to see the Bills or family out of town this weekend should try to leave early or be ready for flight delays or cancellations.

I love to snowmobile are we are also waiting to see what the weather has in store. The trails will be opening (weather and conditions permitting) on January 2nd and 3rd. The clubs will determine if the trails can open. Keep in mind that if you ride a sled on a trail that is closed, you are trespassing.
