If you are looking to get the kids out of the house this weekend and help out a great cause check out this Easter Egg hunt happening this weekend.

The Lakeview Animal Sanctuary will be holding an Easter-Stragzanga this Saturday from 1pm to 5pm. There will be an Easter Egg hunt, pony and unicorn rides, bake sale, raffle, and so much more.

The Easter Egg hunt will be open to children 14 years and under and will be broken into two different age groups.

Admission to the event will be free as long as you bring a non-perishable item that can be donated to the Pendleton Church.

All New York State socially distant guidelines will be enforced and in order to attend the event, you will need to wear a mask and maintain at least 6 feet of distance between you and other people around you.

The event will take place at 5180 Feigle Road in Pendleton New York.

According to their Facebook page, the Lakeview Animal Sanctuary is a non-profit that houses old, abused, and unwanted farm animals. They are always in need of monetary donations or items that can be dropped off at their location. Here are some of the items that they are looking for:

Goat feed, Horse feed (Senior Sentinel, purple bag), Hay, Crack corn, Chicken pellets, Pig food, Beet pulp, Lyme for stalls, Shavings, Turtle food, Parrot food, Bleach, Timothy hay for rabbits, Hand sanitizer, Dawn blue dish soap, Lysol wipes, Laundry soap
Paper towels, Heavy blankets(no sheets)
