Lancaster High School Students Organize Food + Clothing Drive for Those in Need
One time someone told me "If you are having a bad day, remember somebody has it way worse off than you".
That one hit home and there are more people than you think in our community that needs our help. In the times we are in, it's amazing to see people helping others, especially the young adults in our area.
Take a good look at your pantries and your closets and if there is anything you can do to help out your fellow Western New Yorkers, this weekend is going to be the time.
Some of the students at Lancaster High School are trying to help out those in need on Saturday and they are making it super simple for you to donate.
Lancaster High School
1 Forton Drive, Lancaster, NY 14086
South Parking Lot
Saturday, January 16th from 10 am-2 pm.
It will be like a drive-through, cars will place their food in their trunk and when they pull up to the drop off point they will pop open their trunk, then the volunteers will take the food and/or clothing out of your trunk.
The food will be donated to FeedMore WNY and clothes will be donated to Hearts for the Homeless.
