WNY’s Last Electronics Recycling Event Of 2024 Is Coming Soon
What do you do with old electronics? Can you throw them in the trash? Should they be donated? How can you recycle them?
When it comes to technology, there's one thing that's for sure. As soon as you buy the newest tech, something else will come out before it can even be delivered to your front door. So what do you do with all the old stuff?
Can you just throw electronics out?
Unfortunately, electronics aren't biodegradable. So that means that if they go to a landfill, they will take a very long time to break down. They're actually on a list of 5 things that are illegal to throw in the trash in New York. Experts suggest that you recycle electronics to get them out of your house.
Where can you recycle them?
If you've got things like old computers, televisions, and monitors, there are a couple of places where you can recycle them. One of those places is a company called Sunnking. They will hold recycling events a couple of times throughout the year to make sure that people dispose of their electronics responsibly.
The last electronics recycling event of 2024 for Sunnking is coming up soon
This Saturday, electronics recycling organization Sunnking has teamed up with Goodwill to hold what they're calling the "Ultimate Earth Day Spring Cleaning Event."
