Legendary Buffalo Restaurant Abruptly Closes
It is the end of an era. At least for now. The legendary Swannie House restaurant has officially closed in downtown Buffalo.
Employees found out on election night that after the owner, Tim Wiles death, they will not be reopening. The building has been a City of Buffalo landmark for about the last 30 years.
It would be a shame if someone bought it and decided to do something else with it. Although, there ARE other restaurants downtown Buffalo, there are not too many that are as classic as the Swannie House in Buffalo. It is a staple for people to go to the establishment and get wings and beer before they go to the Key Bank arena for a game or concert.
It is unclear at this time what will be done with the building or if it will be put up for sale.
