The Buffalo Bills will be selecting with the 27th overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft, one week from Thursday. Unless the Bills trade out of round one, which means that Friday night will be their first pick.

Whatever general manager Brandon Beane decides to do, the Bills will be trying to add players that help in 2023 and for the next several years to come.

Could that be a running back?

Bijan Robinson has been mocked to Buffalo in many mock drafts but more Bills fans than not are not exactly thrilled with the idea of a running back in round one.

Former Bills running back LeSean McCoy, who was with Buffalo from 2015-2018, talked about the potential of the Bills needing a running back in round one on the Up and Adams show with Kay Adams.

Adams asked McCoy about Hall of Fame quarterback Jim Kelly's comments that Josh Allen needs a big time back, and McCoy responded with the fact that Kelly likes to do a lot of talking.

"First of all, Jim always talks; he's always talking. He just wants to talk about the team, but nobody wants to talk about how he came up short every year...every year, every year," said McCoy.

"Four times short, you supposed to be this great quarterback, Super Bowl, loss, loss," added McCoy.

Bills fans in-thread, didn't appreciate it.

That last tweet is in reference that McCoy won two Super Bowls while being a backup and even being inactive (Kansas City in 2019 and Tampa Bay in 2020).

It's interesting that McCoy went there in his answer...
