There is a big day that is approaching and many across New York State are holding their breath to see what happens!

As we start the second quarter of the year, people from Niagara Falls, to New York City, are making plans for the spring and summer! Will those plans change for better or worse as this week unfolds?

There are multiple reports that a "Liberation Day" will take place across the United States this week.

The target day for "Liberation Day" is going to be Wednesday, April 2nd. President Trump noted that he did not want people to think it was a joke so he chose not to impose the tariff on April 1st, better known as "April Fool's Day".

What will the immediate impact be? That still remains to be seen. Some are concerned that prices on everyday things will go up and the price of products like cars will be thousands of dollars higher.

I am old enough to remember the worry and fears over "Y2K". When we went from 1999 to the year 2000, there was a fear that banks would not be able to operate and machines and anything that depended on a computer would simply stop working. Thankfully, for the most part, there were no major issues when the new year started! Hopefully we don't see any major issues this week if/when the tariffs begin.
