There are concerns about possible listeria contamination in a snack that could have been sold in stores in New York State. Health officials are being extra cautious about the product that was sold at Sam's Club.

The kids will be heading back-to-school soon and many families are trying to plan ahead and get snacks and supplies ready. If that is your family, you can expect to pay around $570 per kid this fall for those supplies!

As for snacks, it is not always easy to get the kids to eat the healthier snacks. Our kids love the freeze dried fruits. However, they would gladly eat a Twinkie instead if they had the choice.

According to a report

CBS News reports that the freeze dried product under the recall is: "The recalled boxes are marked with UPC 1 93968 50900 2 and included varied lot codes and use-by dates, which can be found listed on the FDA's website."

The Cleveland Clinic describes the Listeria infection as those that might be similar to having a flu. Some people even get a stiff neck or joints.
