Liz’s Kitchen: Easy Cannoli Dip Recipe
Looking for a great dip for your upcoming 4th of July party? This is the dip! It is easy and delicious and people will be hovering around the bowl. It's a fun play off the traditional cannoli and gets you right to the good stuff. The only tip on this recipe is to spend money on the ricotta cheese, don't skimp and make sure it's fresh!
Easy Cannoli Dip
- 1 cup ricotta
- 8 oz cream cheese at room temperature
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2/3 cup mini chocolate chips
- Nilla Wafers (Or Waffle Cone Pieces)
Take the ricotta, powdered sugar, and cream cheese and mix in a stand mixer on medium speed. You'll mix this for 3-5 minutes until mixture is smooth.
Add vanilla extract and mix for 30 more seconds. Taste the mixture and if you think you need it sweeter you can add more powdered sugar (1-2 tbsp) and mix again.
Fold in the mini chocolate chips, saving some to sprinkle on top,
Put in serving bowl and lay out the Nilla Wafers! ENJOY!
