C'mon, it's always neat when local places get some national spotlight love and that's exactly what happened during Sunday's broadcast of the Bills game against the Miami Dolphins.

According to WIVB, CBS' broadcast crew mentioned how Miami quarterback and former Bills QB Ryan Fitzpatrick went to dinner the night before with Bills tight end and former teammate Lee Smith. They went to Mulberry Italian Restaurant.

It wasn't brought up once either; rather, multiple times. It was mentioned as Fitzpatrick's favorite restaurant, not just in Buffalo, but ANYWHERE.

The owner Joe Jerge was at the game, so he didn't get a chance to hear the Mulberry love...but he got a ton of texts from friends and family about it, including from the wife of former Bills running back, Thurman Thomas.

“I always like to say our real celebrities are our regular customers, but it’s very humbling to have people that are of celebrity stature… the Bills, the Sabres, whoever, come in here and want to frequent the place. But more importantly, they want to come back. so that’s really, really nice and it’s great for the regulars who come in, to see those people. And a lot of them do co-mingle and talk to everybody so it’s really neat,” Jerge said.

Jerge said Fitz ordered the Gnocchi on Saturday and that he would be back. How cool!
