Local School District To Hold Talk On Race Relations

Parents of children in the Sweet Home School district this morning received an email from the new High School Principle inviting them to be part of a conversation on race and the recent events that have happened here in Western New York and across the country.

The email from Mr. Perry, who was recently hired as principal of Sweet Home High School states that both he and School Superintendent Anthony Day will have a conversation on race and welcomed questions from parents, students, and staff.

They will have a meeting on June 8th which will be recorded where they will talk about race, current events, and talk about personal experiences.

They are asking people to email them questions by June 7th and they will try to answer those questions during their recorded conversation.

The conversation will be posted on the Sweet Home High School website for those that want to listen to it next Wednesday.
