This past Friday Global Premier Soccer (GPS) announced that due to a federal investigation, COVID-19, and involuntary bankruptcy they have shut down the club.

An email sent to Parents by club CEO Keith Caldwell explained the decision.

Our financial sponsor & LGS determined that the stress of the involuntary bankruptcy petition filed by certain creditors, in addition to the impact of the federal investigation, COVID and the uncertainty of the future in that regard - have had a severely negative impact on the organization and its viability moving forward.   As a result of these and other factors, they made the decision to shut the club down.

GPS had run clubs all across the country and was one of the larger clubs in Western New York.

Currently, the coaches and staff from GPS have transitioned into a new club called Rush NY which will be holding sessions beginning the week of July 6th.
