Jim Skrip of Depew met actress, singer and former Miss USA Vanessa Williams by accident....in Egypt. According to The Buffalo News:

Last year, Williams announced on a daytime talk show that she and Skrip, a St. Bonaventure University graduate, were going to be married...

 

Williams and Skrip met several years ago while on separate vacations in Egypt. Williams previously told The Buffalo News that she and her daughter were on a Nile cruise when she noticed another tourist in a Sabres shirt.
