Major Surprise At This Year’s National Buffalo Wingfest
The National Buffalo Wingfest returned to Western New York this past weekend and along with it came a major surprise.

On Sunday, one of the premier Professional Eaters in the World Joey Chestnut was back in town to defend his chicken wing eating title, but on Sunday, one of the competitors had a different idea.
Miki Sudo took home the crown dowing 246 wings in just 12 minutes. She managed to outwing Chestnut by two wings as "Jaws" ended the competition downing 244 wings.
Sudo is the Major League Eating #1 ranked female and has won the Nathan's Hotdog eating competition every year from 2014 until 2020.
Sudo wasn't the only champion over the weekend. According to the National Buffalo Wingfest website, here are the overall chicken wing winners from the weekend.

This year's festival was a bit different from years past. Due to the Buffalo Bisons' schedule, the festival had to move the location was held at the home of the Buffalo Bills, Highmark Stadium.
Plus if you like to plan ahead, the festival has already announced the date of the festival for 2022. It will be held once again over Labor Day weekend and will be held on September 3rd and 4th.
