Here in New York State, there are three very popular venues for outdoor concerts in the summertime. Darien Lake, CMAC and SPAC seem to be the most active in the summer and early fall.

It was announced this week that SPAC, near Albany, is going to make a seating policy change for the 2025 season.

According to reports, fans will no longer be able to bring in their own lawn chairs for LiveNation events. Chairs can be rented for a 15-dollar fee and must be turned in at the end of each show.

News Channel 13 reports, "Personal chairs will still be allowed for SPAC produced events, including Saratoga Jazz Festival, Philadelphia Orchestra, and New York City Ballet".
