The busy concert season is here and when you attend a show in New York State, there will be a noticeable police presence.

We looked at the list of shows that are on the schedule this year and it is massive. From country, to hip-hop, and everything in between, there are hundreds of great shows to see this year.

But in order to have a safe and fun experience, you will need to follow the laws that are in place. Particularly if you are going to have a few drinks.

According to multiple reports, New York State officials will be at many of the popular concert venues this summer.

DMV officials will be joined by law enforcement to check for fake IDs at concert venues like Darien Lake.

In a post online from the New York State DMV, it was noted that: "The underage drinking enforcement details will continue through the summer at concert venues across the state. Last year, 307 people were cited and 349 fake IDs were seized".

There are some amazing shows that are planned for Darien Lake and SPAC and CMAC as the season has already started and will be running all summer in to the Labor Day weekend!

"If someone under 21 is found to be using a fake ID or someone else's ID to buy alcohol, they can be ticketed and their license can be suspended or revoked for 90 days to one year".
