The home opener was nothing less than busy for the police departments including Orchard Park and the Erie County Sheriff's. They received a ton of calls at the Buffalo Bills home opener at Highmark Stadium on Sunday.

    • fights
    • intoxicated persons
    • missing people
    • suspicious people
    • illegal parking
    • disturbances
    • welfare checks
    • reckless driving
    • domestic disturbances
    • stolen vehicles

Right before the game there was a massive fight that happened at  3819 Southwestern Boulevard in one of the private lots. Three people were arrested and charged with disorderly conduct and will have a date in court in Orchard Park. Some of the people were under age and were needed to be picked up by their parents because they were intoxicated.

No word on there being any underage drinking tickets in addition to the disorderly conduct charge. Orchard Park Police posted a press release that listed some of the biggest complaints and calls that they received at the home opener including a big incident where one person who was drunk hit another person and drove away.

The Buffalo Bills are flying today to Miami to get ready to take on the Dolphins on Thursday Night Football. Their next game after Miami is 11 days away when the Bills play back at home against the Jaguars on Monday, September 23, 2024.

Josh Allen has been cleared to play in the game. After the home opener, fans were worried about a hand injury on Josh Allen. It was his non-throwing hand and says he is ready to play.
