Taste of Country 2022: Remembering The Year We Came Back

It was really starting to feel like we were never going to be able to go to a live concert ever again for a while during the pandemic. So when we were finally able to come back, we did it up big, and it was more emotional than we thought it would be.

We ended up canceling the show in 2020 shortly after we had announced it. Then in 2021, we didn't even plan one. But in 2022, we came back with one of the biggest stars to ever step on stage at the Taste of Country.

It was just like the old days. We even had our TOC Riser Competition back! Walker Hayes had a huge hit on his hands with "Fancy Like." Thompson Square had a baby with them this time. Billy Currington returned as an opener this time, and Tim McGraw brought his buddy Jim Kelly and 41 number-one hits with him.

It was an emotional return to the ballpark
