This marks the 25th edition of Western New York’s largest annual country music festival. Once again, Sahlen Field will serve as the home of this iconic summer event. There may not be a more fitting venue than a baseball stadium in one of America’s great cities, filled with country music fans just days before the nation celebrates its 250th anniversary.

It’s going to be an incredible night filled with great music, unforgettable memories, and plenty of fun with friends and family.

Hartman’s Distilling Company has once again crafted a special bourbon to celebrate this landmark event. Carefully selected and aged to perfection, this year’s commemorative bourbon was chosen specifically to honor the 25th anniversary of WYRK Taste of Country.

The limited-edition bourbon comes in at a bold 106.5 proof and is sure to be a collector’s item for years to come. This year's bourbon sales will once again support the ECMC Foundation as a portion of the money collected will be given to help ECMC continue it's mission to give hope and healing to all of Western New York!

How the Anniversary Bourbon Was Selected

We recently had the opportunity to sample several bourbons from various barrels at Hartman’s Distilling Company as part of the selection process.

A panel of judges with varying levels of bourbon expertise participated in the tasting. Some were seasoned bourbon enthusiasts, while others, like myself and ECMC's current President and CEO Andy Davis, were a little less experienced. After sampling several outstanding options, we ultimately selected the bourbon that we felt best represented this special anniversary.

Every barrel offered something unique, but this one stood out. If you’re a bourbon fan, I think you’ll absolutely love it.
