Merle Haggard Joins Twitter [VIDEO]

Twitter has been around for years.  But I'd like to argue that it's now the biggest social networking site on the internet.  Not because there are a ton of people that use it.  It's more about who is using it.

Country music legend and hall of famer Merle Haggard joined twitter today and is already offering lines for new songs to young songwriters in his first two tweets.

I gotta give the guy credit.  He's even using hashtags correctly.  It's like he's a seasoned veteran.  In less than an hour the guy had a ton more followers than I have already!  He was at 756 at 9:00pm.  What is he at now?
