‘MEternity’ Leave for People Without Kids? Should It Be a Thing?

This woman had this idea that is generating a lot of attention. She was getting jealous of seeing co-workers getting a break from work all while she was getting burnt out.

So she decided that she wants to take 'MEternity' leave since she has no children. New York State does not have a maternity leave law, but many, though not all, workers (both men and women) are entitled to request up to 12 weeks of unpaid leave per year to care for a newborn child.
