Some pretty big news out of East Aurora, New York, today. A very popular local bar has announced on Facebook that it will be closing, and this Saturday night will be the official sendoff party.

East Aurora is one of the fastest-growing and most sought-after communities in Western New York. The village has been home to countless fun festivals, historic landmarks, and events over the years, and its nightlife scene has grown right along with the community.

But, as with all good things, sometimes they must come to an end. For the owners and patrons of Mister’s Bar & Grill in East Aurora, the end is near.

Mister’s Bar & Grill Hosting Final Sendoff Party

In a Facebook post this past week, the owners announced that they will be holding their final last hurrah this Saturday night as they officially close the doors.

The party starts at 7 p.m. and runs until last call, and the owners are hoping to pack the place one last time for an official farewell.

If you have spent a night at Mister’s over the years, this could be your final opportunity to stop in, grab a drink, see some familiar faces, and say goodbye to a place that has been part of the East Aurora community.

A New Business Will Take Over the Space

According to the owners, the space will not remain empty for long. They explained that someone new is coming into the location with a different design and a new concept.

For more information about the closing party and what the owners had to say about the future of the space, check out the Mister’s Bar & Grill Facebook page.

East Aurora Continues to Grow

East Aurora is thriving, and anyone opening a new business in the village will likely be welcomed as another new opportunity for the community.

I grew up in East Aurora, and it is dramatically different from the town I knew when I graduated from East Aurora High School in 1995. The village has changed quite a bit over the years, but there are still plenty of reasons to make a trip back.

Of course, it can be tough to find a house in East Aurora when one goes up for sale. Many homes seem to attract plenty of attention and can sell for well above the asking price.

I still try to get back there as often as I can, whether it is for one of the many fun events, to see what’s new, or simply to revisit some of the memories from growing up there.

Best wishes to the owners of Mister’s Bar & Grill, and to all of the patrons who have spent so many fun nights inside the East Aurora establishment. This Saturday will be one last chance to raise a glass and say goodbye.
