Montgomery Gentry’s Troy Gentry Dies In A Helicopter Crash

Troy Gentry, half of the country superstar duo Montgomery Gentry has died today in a tragic helicopter accident outside of Medford, New Jersey.

According to TasteofCountry.com, the accident took place this afternoon (9/8).

The duo was scheduled to play at the Flying W Airport and Resort tonight.  That concert has been cancelled.

Eddie Montgomery was not on board at the time of the accident.
