Wow. It was embarrassing....and both humbling for one young man who picked up a phone call, that he thought was going to change his life forever.

Juantarius Bryant, a football player who played Safety for Austin Peay State University in Tennessee got a phone call from the defensive coordinator, Dean Pres, for the Atlanta Falcons inviting him down to rookie camp. When Bryant got there to rookie camp, they told him that something was wrong, and that is when he realized someone was pulling what seems to be a prank on him. It wasn't the Falcons organization, but Bryant has no idea who did it. He even apologized to the team.

Someone contacted me from a 404 area code number pretending to be dean Pres, the DC for the Atlanta Falcons. I did not realize that it was not a legit opportunity until I traveled to the facility for rookie mini camp check in on Wednesday, May 12th.

You know how social media goes, though: EVERYONE HAS AN OPINION. Some were talking on social media that this was just a stunt and he did it to garnish attention from the NFL. Either way, it has garnished attention, so maybe he will get invited for a try out if someone thinks he's got what it takes!

After a lot of people talking about the incident that went down, he decided that he wanted to get in front of it and address it first hand:

How many times do you get spam calls on your phone? The scammers are getting better and better nowadays so it is important you be careful. Now, this situation was not exactly a scam call as much as it seems to be a prank because nobody tried getting anything, such as money out of Braynt.
