Buffalo, New York has a rich history of basketball. With Canisius, St. Bonaventure, Niagara and UB all in our backyard (and Syracuse just down the road) there is always a good team to keep an eye on.

This past weekend, the brackets were put together and on the men's side of things, it's Alabama that is the team to beat! The current coach, Nate Oats was once the head coach at UB and had great success here before heading off to lead the Crimson Tide.

Nate Oats is a great coach and during his time in Buffalo, the UB Bulls had some great success. We will be watching!

The NCAA tournament has been in Buffalo a few times and one year, Steph Curry was here as he was on the Davidson College team. Curry dropped a monster three-pointer that many fans still remember! I had the honor and pleasure of watching that game from the court as I was the NCAA Tournament PA announcer for that year here in Buffalo, NY
