How Bills Fans Can Purchase Neutral Site AFC Title Game Tickets
The Buffalo Bills are preparing to play the Cincinnati Bengals at Highmark Stadium this Sunday at 3 pm. This marks the third consecutive season the Bills have made the AFC's divisional round.
The Bills and Bengals game from January 2nd was cancelled due to the cardiac arrest and health situation for Damar Hamlin, which was a game that was big for seeding purposes in the AFC postseason. The Bengals would not have gotten the 1 seed anyway, since the Kansas City Chiefs won their remaining game, but they could have leaped the Bills.
The game being cancelled means the Bills host the AFC divisional round game, because they had a better record at 13-3; vs. the 12-4 record by the Bengals.
There is still the potential for an AFC Championship game being played at a neutral site, which will happen if the Bills and Kansas City Chiefs advance this weekend.
Even though fans of both teams don't want to look ahead, the NFL is saying those fans have no choice and need to start the ticketing process for that neutral site game, if it should happen.
The NFL released ticket information for the potential AFC title game in Atlanta's Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
Bills and Chiefs season ticket holders who opted-in to purchase AFC Championship game tickets will receive a special presale opportunity starting tomorrow at 10 am ET. Those season ticket members will be provided a unique passcode.
All other fans can sign up for a passcode to purchase presale tickets starting at 10 am, ET on Friday.
If there are tickets still available to the public, those will go on sale on Monday morning, January 23rd at 10 am ET.
Before that can happen, the Bills have to beat the Bengals and the Chiefs have to beat the Jacksonville Jaguars.
