New Turf To Be Installed At New Era Field This Summer

It looks like the turf at New Era Field will get the Hollywood treatment this summer and get a bit of a facelift.

According to WXXI News, a new playing field will be installed at New Era Field starting in May. Erie County will pick up the cost of around 3 million dollars for the new turf and other projects associated with the playing turf.

The other projects will include repairs to various concrete structures and new coats of paint in and around the stadium.

All the work is expected to be completed by the time the Bills return from Training camp this summer.
