New York Church Sets Sock Collection Record

It's the giving season and there is a group in New York that has plenty of celebrating to do over their recent collection of donations.

What started out as a collection for those who need warm socks, turned in to what could be a record setter.

According to MetroSource News:

This weekend the Sacred Heart Church in Cicero tried for the record of most socks collected in eight hours. They needed about three-thousand-pairs but may have come close to tripling that number. Guinness hasn't confirmed the numbers yet.
