New York State Authorities On High Alert Tonight

There is a massive security presence that will be underway over the next few days across New York State.

The year has flown by and looking back, it sure has been a year filled with milestones, drama and some pretty monumental news stories. From the Presidential election, to the recent news of former President Carter passing, 2024 will go down as a major year in American history!

But the end of the year is here and officials are making sure that it ends without a major incident.

According to reports, after recent attacks on large crowds, police across New York State will be watching areas around New Year's Eve celebrations.

Recently, New York State's Governor reassured the public that public transportation is also getting more safe for people.

In a post on X (Twitter) the Governor said "safety efforts and adding cameras to all subway cars, crime is going down, and ridership is going up".
