This Area In New York State Getting A Curfew
As the new week starts and we approach the mid-February mark, there is a new curfew that is going to be put in place in a portion of New York State. Will this be a trend in cities across the state?
The border crisis may be the main issue that will determine how people vote this coming November. Thousands of migrants are coming across the border and, in some cases, being transported to other cities across the country. New York City is now feeling the pressure as a crazy amount of migrants are flooding the area.
Migrant related crime is soaring and becoming a fear for residents and officials in the New York City area. It is also becoming a statewide issue that even Governor Hochul is trying to keep control over. There will be a new curfew added to some of the places that migrants are staying.
New York City Mayor Eric Adams is issuing an 11 p.m. to 6 a.m. curfew to 20 more migrant shelters starting tonight.
This comes a week after a migrant was tackled and taken in to custody by Guardian Angels in New York City on live TV.
As Guardian Angels leader Curtis Sliwa spoke live with Sean Hannity on Fox News Tuesday night from 42nd Street and 7th Avenue in New York City, other members of the group could be seen behind Sliwa surrounding a man and throwing him to the pavement.
There is still an investigation happening surrounding what exactly happened and led up to this moment.
