Snow Closing Schools This Week in Western New York?

There are reports that portions of New York State could see a quick return to the snow and cold weather this week.

The month of April normally brings rain. However, here in New York State, you really never know what to prepare for as the forecast seems is a lot like a roller coaster ride from warm to cold and back.

But the snow is coming, and it could be slippery this Tuesday.

Snow Closing Schools This Week in Western New York?

According to the National Weather Service in Buffalo, New York, it will get cold enough to drop some snow in portions of Western New York.

Will Schools Close?

At this point, there are no reports of any schools planning to close and the snow likely won't be around long. However, it may be slippery in some areas when the snow does fly and starts to stick.

By this time of the year, those of us who drive are ready to deal with icy and snowy roads. It is more of a nuisance when it snows in April. Just a few weeks ago we had temperatures in the 70s! But the motorcycle, convertible and shorts will have to stay in storage a little longer.
