With so many negative stories coming from the NFL, this one is incredibly refreshing.  It's great to see someone do so much good for so many.  Last weekend, for the eighth consecutive year, Houston Texans wide receiver Andre Johnson lived the life of Santa Claus for 80 seconds.

Johnson wears #80 on the field and gave some at-risk children from child protective services a shopping spree at a local Toys R Us store.   Because his number on the field is 80, he gave them 80 seconds to run through the store and get whatever they could put in their cart.
The final bill...$16,266.26. According to ESPN, the bill was so high that his credit card was flagged for suspicious activity by the company.  He had to call to confirm that he was making all those purchases!

So what did the kids choose to buy?  They got everything from Frozen plush toys to toy airplanes. They didn't have to run for the really expensive video games though.  Johnson also gives each child a gaming system and games as well as gifts to give to their siblings.

So why does he do it?  "I'm in a blessed situation so I'm able to help other people. That's all that matters," Johnson said in a Houston Chronicle video. "I've always said, if I was able to make it I would do stuff like this."
