No More Curfew For Cheektowaga
Erie County Executive Mark Poloncarz announced today that the nightly curfew in Cheektowaga has been lifted.
Cheektowaga was the last suburb in Erie County to lift it's curfew. The City of Buffalo remains under a 8pm until 5 am curfew until Monday morning.
Poloncarz said the curfew was lifted because Cheektowaga police have increased patrols in the area.
Yesterday the County executive also mentioned that most towns in Erie County have increased their police presence and there are more Erie county sheriffs and State Troopers working patrols in the county as well.
